Halloween Walk

Hair-rising Halloween hike on 30 October 2021

Back for 2021 – why not treat yourself to a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts? Choose your distance, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval start & finish will meet, greet & shock. Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off.

Chiltern 50 Challenge

Festival style season-finisher on 25 September 2021

This end of season 50 km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and fantastic views. Starting & finishing at our base-camp in Henley, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ & entertainment with extensive on-site camping & parking options. It’s a route with real variety and some wonderful scenery – and it’s all easily accessible from London. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with a 25 km option also – there’s a Chiltern Challenge for everyone!

Thames Bridges Trek

Unrivalled views of the London skyline on 11 September 2021

Join over 2000 walkers and trek across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline, and historic landmarks. Setting out from the Putney Bridge start we had East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of 16 historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story – and a mid point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it’s a party style finish line celebration in Southwark Park past the final crossing – the majestic Tower Bridge.

Thames Path Challenge

Take on the historic towpath on 11/12 September 2021

England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100 km route heads upstream all the way to Henley along the famous Thames Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful historic scenery en-route to a riverside finish line. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with 50 km & 25 km distance options also available – plus the Thames Bridges Trek  & Moonlight 10 through Central London  – and the Sunday Henley 10K – there’s a Thames Path Challenge for everyone in 2021.

Thames Moonlight 10 Walk

Experience London at night on 10 September 2021

The Moonlight 10 Walk kicks off the famous Thames Path Challenge weekend festival of riverside events! Take on either a spirited 10 km or an energetic 10 mile looped route through the heart of London as darkness falls and the Moon rises. Experience London in a different light, passing famous landmarks – including St Paul’s, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and more. A lively finish line awaits – with a glass of fizz & a special Moon medal – followed by some welcome hot food & drink – with  the opportunity to visit the Oval’s Bar if you have the legs!

The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. A new ‘Coast to Coast’ Challenge for 2021 – across England’s South West Peninsula. It’s 102km from Minehead in Somerset on the south bank of the Bristol Channel, down to the seaside town of Dawlish on the southern coast of Devon, with the ups & downs of Exmoor, some magnificent views, the meandering Exe Valley, and the city of Exeter in between. Take on the new Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There’s a challenge base-camp hub  in Pateley Bridge with a range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality & welfare services over the weekend. The full 100 km route is a varied figure of 8 style route which takes in the famous Nidderdale Way, Ripley Castle, and Gouthwaite Reservoir. Isle of Wight Challenge

Walk, Jog or Run around the coastal path, on 10/11 July 2021

We’ve moved the date (due to Covid restrictions) so we have more daylight, and flipped the route so it’s easy to join with our new Cowes base-camp closer to the ferries. The coastal path will now welcome challengers in sunny July, and it’s anticlockwise around the Island this year, down past the Needles & the Southern cliffs to Chale at half way – and for Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor & Bembridge and back to our welcome base-camp after an epic 106km journey.

You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with half & quarter distance challenges also – and optional camping packages – there’s a fantastic Isle of Wight weekend for everyone!
