And in a follow-up to our earlier blogpost, we can now share that our wonderful supporter Bhaveet has completed his enormous 1000km walk, 100km of which he did in support of Music for my Mind!

Halloween Walk

Hair-rising Halloween hike on 28 October 2023

Get your bravest team together of guys & ghouls or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers to take on the scary streets and historic haunts of London. With a full, half or 10k distance available there is a spooky challenge available for everyone. With a start & finish at the Oval Dungeon, come dress to distress to take part in a hairraising hike around London. Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off.

This event is strictly walking only, so no jogging or running is allowed.

Chiltern 50 Challenge

Festival style season-finisher on 23 September 2023

This 50 km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and fantastic views. Starting & finishing at our base-camp in Henley-on-Thames, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ & entertainment with camping options. It’s a route with real variety and some wonderful scenery – and it’s all easily accessible from London. 

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, tshirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with a 25 km option also – there’s a Chiltern Challenge for everyone!

Thames Bridges Trek

Unrivalled views of the London skyline on 09 September 2023

Join over 2000 walkers and trek across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline, and historic landmarks. Setting out from Putney Bridge, we head East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story – rest stop near Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, before reaching the spectacular Tower Bridge and completing your challenge at Southwark Park, it’s a party style finish line and is great way to enjoy a weekend in London.

The kind support received from Sosei Heptares these past 3 years has been amazing. The raised funds helped us face uncertainties and encouraged us to develop our App, which aids families affected by dementia create a personalised playlist in 15 minutes.

Thames Path Challenge

Take on the historic towpath on 9/10 September 2023

The famous & ever popular Thames Path Challenge provides a wonderful route along England’s greatest river. The route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line. Walk, jog or run 100km, 50km & 25km options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’.

South Coast Challenge

Seven Sisters & South Downs on 2/3 September 2023

South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for a brilliant Ultra Challenge and has been stable in many challengers calendar for a number of years, why not join us as 2000 participants trek across the beautiful south coast. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail with stunning views over the sea to a Brighton midpoint. Devil’s Dyke, welcome rest stops, a few ups & downs all lie ahead before historic Arundel.

South West Coast 50 Challenge

Cross England’s South West Peninsula on 05 August 2023

A new South West’ Challenge for 2022 – taking in the first Minehead section of the stunning & famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. The 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb.

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, tshirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement. You’ll get full support all the way, a finish line celebration, choose between a 50k or 25 km option or a family friendly 10K event, along with camping options and festival style hospitality at basecamp across the weekend – there’s a South West Challenge for everyone!

North Downs 50 Challenge

Tackle some of the best Surrey hills on 22 July 2023

Back by popular demand the North Downs 50 has returned for 2023. Setting out from our Guilford basecamp, and a looped 50km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. The North Downs 50 is not one to miss. You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with 25 km options also available, and University style accommodation at basecamp as a bookable extra – there’s a North Downs Challenge waiting for you in 2023!

Peak District Challenge

A looped route to & from Bakewell on 8 / 9 July 2023

The wonderful, but tough & varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery, serves up the best of the Peak District. With the trail leading you through the Peak District National Park to our comforting Bakewell basecamp, over 2,500 adventurers will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park.
